On the death of a family member of a government employee, a funeral grant is awarded to his family from the Punjab Benevolent Fund Board.

Gazetted
- On the Death of a Gazetted Government employee and dependent of the family of a Gazetted Government servant 35,000 PKR
Non – Gazetted
- On the Death of Non-Gazetted Government servant and dependent of the family of Non- Gazetted Government employee 35,000 PKR
How to Apply For the Funeral Grant
To apply for the grant, follow these steps and ensure that you submit the application form along with the required documents as specified:
- Complete the Application Form: Fill out the application form with all the required information. Be sure to provide accurate and complete details as requested.
- Gather the Necessary Documents: Submit several documents along with your application. Make sure you have the following documents ready:
- Application Form
- Copy of B-Form
- Copy of CNIC of Applicant
- Copy of CNIC of Deceased
- Death Certificate issued from Town Committee/ Union Council
- Computerized Pay Slip
- An affidavit showing the relationship & any payment will be refunded.
- Submit the Application:
- Submission Deadline to Parent’s Department: Ensure you apply within 275 days to the parent’s department. This is the first step in the submission process.
- Submission to B.F. Board: After applying to the parent’s department, it should be further submitted to the B.F. (Benevolent Fund) Board within 03 years. Adhere to this timeline to ensure your application is considered.
- Follow-Up: After applying, consider following up with the relevant authorities to confirm the receipt of your application and to inquire about the progress of your application’s review.
Make sure to retain copies of all the documents submitted for your records, and meet any specified deadlines to avoid disqualification from the grant application process.
