    Farewell Grant

    An amount equal to the last basic pay is awarded to a government servant at the time of superannuation/ retirement on qualifying service/ invalided retirement. A farewell grant is also admissible to the family of a government servant who dies during service, which qualifies him/her for a pension.

    To avail of the Farewell Grant, follow the step-by-step guide and ensure your to submit the application form along with the required documents as specified:

    1. Download the Application Form: Obtain the application form for the Farewell Grant from the official source or website where it is provided. You should be able to download the form in a digital format.
    2. Complete the Application Form: Fill out the application form with all the required information. Ensure that you provide accurate and complete details as requested.
    3. Gather the Necessary Documents: You will need to submit several documents along with your application. Make sure you have the following documents ready:
      • CNIC Copy of Applicant/ Govt. Employee
      • Death Certificate issued from Town Committee/ Union Council
      • The deceased person’s CNIC or Birth Certificate and Death Certificate from the Union Council
      • Affidavit issued from Court if Government Employee is deceased in favor of the Applicant.
    4. Submit the Application: Application for the farewell grant should be made within 3 years of superannuation, retirement on qualifying service, invalid retirement, or death during service, through the parent’s office, to the concerned Benevolent Fund Board.
    5. Follow-Up: After applying, consider following up with the relevant authorities to confirm the receipt of your application and to inquire about the progress of your application’s review.
